It may have been taken on the very first day of the 1943 classes. Or in the following weeks. Or in the last days of the school year.
Certain is that the young students gathered in front of the Rodrigues de Freitas High School in Oporto to take a photograph that immortalized them.
Photos may even have been taken with other students on that day... certainly it happened in the decades that followed, but this will forever be Class A of this high school in 1943. It only remains to be seen to what year they belonged.
