João Emílio Pereira was shot by the Germans on April 14, 1944, at the Weimar-Buchenwald camp.

The information of his death was transmitted to Portugal by the Portuguese consulate in Lyon on June 17, 1946. They had received the Military Exemption Title from that Portuguese citizen.

Among the documents I was bale to see in foreign Ministry Archives Incas unagble to find more information about João Pereira or the reasons that led him to the camp at Buchenwald.
