The pilot lost the orientation and endend up in the south coast of Portugal, thinkig they were near Port Lyautey, in Marroco.
The forced landing was made on the sea and five of the eleven men died.
The survivors were piked up by three fishermen that transported them to land and were sent to hospital in Faro. Two of these men had severe injuries and were sent immediatly to Lisbon.
