The aircraft had the code letters F8+AU. It was hit during a fight with the armed trawler HMS Imperialist and had to land in the Apúlia beach while  he trying to reach Spain. The crew left the aircraft unhurt and was latter repatriated. Gall, Spendler, Eisen and Helbig were lost in combat on July 31, 1943.
