The aircraft was on the way to Luqa, Malta, with four other Blenheim's. The main tanks became empty after the support from one auxiliary pump broke. The internment of the crew lasted until 31 July of that year. They left Portugal to Gibraltar in the steamer S. S. Briarwood. The aircraft went to the Portuguese Aeronáutica Militar with the registry AM262 and was destroyed in one accident in the Tagus River on July 12, 1944.
